PDF Around the World With Auntie Mame: A Novel with FREE PDF EDITION!

If you're a fan of Patrick Dennis or of 1950s/early`60s light comedy reading, you'll like this sequel to Auntie Mame, albeit at a premium price (better pricing would be about half of the $12.99 sticker price). If you're not a fan of either, it's unlikely that you will. From a 2020 perspective, the exaggerated characterizations of the different nationalities may be a bit hard to take, and like Auntie Mame, and Genius (the best book of Dennis' career in my opinion) and most of his works, there's an underlying current of homophobia through "Around the World..." that becomes more understandable if you know that "Dennis" (nee Edward Tanner) was a semi-closeted gay through much of his adult life. Nonetheless, it's nice to have this, as well as Auntie Mame, available on Kindle if you're Dennis fan and if you can excuse the fact that all his books are products of their times. Now if "Tony" and "The Joyous Season" would be available on Kindle, I'd be a happy camper.
